Built in the 16th century, the villa was originally created as a retreat for the Genoese Doges and cardinals who were frequent visitors. Restored to its antique splendour by the De Ferrari family, the villa was transformed into a hotel in 1956. Standing on an outcrop of rock above the sea at the foot of Mount Portofino, the hotel offers its guests contemporary comfort in a historical setting.
