Båsenberga Hotel in Södermanland, Sweden
The property was the parish’s poorhouse from 1876. 60–70 inmates lived here and worked on the farm. The property was later turned into Vingåkers ålderdomshem (a home for the elderly), which was popular for its lush greenery. The property was renovated into a study centre in 1973 and was owned by the Educational Association of Professional Employees (TBV) for over 30 years. The property fell into private hands in 2005. Since then, the facility has undergone extensive renovation. Today the space welcomes visitors to experience its wonderfully harmonious and inspiring atmosphere. Accommodation is provided in three buildings surrounding the beautiful courtyard. Our proximity to Vingåker Golf Course gives visitors superb opportunities to play golf and practice their swing. We are only 100 metres from the course’s first tee. We can also provide group lessons on the driving range and practice course with their golf pro.
