Wine connoisseur and hotel host Svein Garmo is a third-generation owner at Fossheim Turisthotell, and together with Manager Helge Danielsen, they wish you a heartfelt welcome to Fossheim. At Fossheim we are dedicated to maintaining cherished traditions, and we are proud of our cultural heritage -- architecture, craft arts and culinary traditions. Splendid log houses built according to age-old building traditions, together with art and antiques, is all part of the setting that will permit you to relax and feel comfortable at Fossheim. Fossheim has 46 rooms in all at the hotel, in addition to two huts and three apartments. We can house about 100 guests. All rooms feature a bathroom/shower and WC. The chefs at Fossheim take uniquely Norwegian traditions to new heights -- a meal in itself is enough reason to pay a visit. Many visitors come to Fossheim precisely for the food - to experience a culinary adventure that will leave lasting memories, and our head chef Kristoffer Hovland is adept at making use of local, seasonal ingredients.
