The award-winning Flanders Hotel was designed by one of Bruges’ foremost 19th-century architects… but before that, it was a Dominican monastery! Renovated in recent years, we’ve made sure to keep this property’s layered past alive, and have retained references to its roots as an old-world grand hotel and religious site – we’re particularly proud of our Gothic room, which was part of the monastery dating back to 1304. What’s more, Flanders Hotel boasts a brilliant location, and is within walking distance of many of Bruges’ major sights. Wander to the historic inner city – dubbed a UNESCO World Heritage site – and access everything from parks to museums and shops in just a few short minutes from our doors. At the hotel, there are plenty of ways to pass the time, too. Lounge beside our indoor pool, enjoy a drink in our lounge-bar or admire our serene gardens, tucked away at the back of the property. There’s a lot to see, and our friendly staff are always ready to help you navigate it all. Welcome to our wonderful city.
