Historic Hotels of Europe (HHE) is thrilled to announce that their prestigious Historic Hotels of Europe Awards has returned for the eighth time. Once more, guests and travel lovers are being invited to cast their vote for their favourite properties across the continent from the awards page: https://www.historichotelsofeurope.com/award.html
Those who have taken part in the celebrations before will notice that there are a couple of new categories to vote in. Among the eight categories that were included in the previous edition of the awards, which range from the best places to eat to the most exciting castle hotels and romantic hideaways, there are now options to vote for your favourite new historic hotel as well as the property making the strongest efforts to reduce their carbon footprint: a growing priority of Historic Hotels of Europe, who are working hard to champion sustainability in the travel and hospitality sectors.
Beyond shining a light on the properties going above and beyond to deliver exceptional hospitality, services, experiences and accommodation, Historic Hotels of Europe is also excited to use the awards as a chance to celebrate their supporters this year… the travellers themselves. They’re giving those that vote in the awards the chance to win an unforgettable getaway to Lisbon - all entrants need to do to be eligible is cast their votes on the official awards page and sign up to the newsletter. The winner will be drawn randomly from the database of entrants and will be contacted directly.
Voting has already opened (December 19th) and will run until February 20th 2022. The award winners 2022 will be announced on Monday 21st of March 2022 during a gala dinner at the Grand Hotel et de Milan, Italy, where staff from Historic Hotels of Europe and the nominated hotels will get together to commemorate everything they achieved in 2021, despite it being another difficult year for the travel and hospitality industries.
The event will also coincide with the fifth annual Hoteliers' Meeting - a value-packed gathering of hospitality professionals with full-day presentations and networking opportunities with fellow hoteliers.
“All of the properties in our Collection have been handpicked for their world-class services and incredible stories to share,” commented Claudia Buscher, Executive Director of HHE. “The Historic Hotels of Europe Awards are a brilliant opportunity to champion the properties going above and beyond to deliver the very best services, experiences, hospitality and accommodation to their guests across Europe. We’re so excited to celebrate them.”
