Blue Haven Hotel, Ireland

This cosy and petite four-star boutique hotel - with only sixteen exclusive rooms - is based in historic Kinsale, and is part of the Blue Haven Collection. Originally a medieval fishing port, Kinsale is now known as the Gourmet Capital of Ireland - a title this locale takes very seriously. Boasting an amazing array of places to eat and drink on-site - including a Fish Market Bistro and bar, where guests can enjoy whiskey and craft beer tasting boards - there are plenty of ways to treat your tastebuds while under its historic roof.

Also based in Kinsale and belonging to the Blue Haven Collection, this luxury Georgian getaway makes for a spectacular stay. It was originally a bank on the Kinsale waterway, but now, this guesthouse offers unrestricted comfort to travellers from around the world - and from its seventeen tasteful rooms to delicious dining options, acts as the perfect home away from home. Kinsale itself also has a lot to offer, including some fascinating museums, horse riding and a castle.
