Each voucher is sustainable, too

Historic Hotels of Europe has taken steps to ensure their vouchers factor in the environment. Not only are they sent electronically - cutting down on the company’s carbon footprint - some money from each sale automatically goes towards planting a tree through their green partner, Global Forest Fund.

The Global Forest Fund is an initiative by the Foundation for Environmental Education, the world’s largest environmental education organization, that gives individuals and businesses a simple way to compensate for their carbon emissions through donations to tree-plating and environmental education projects around the world. They’re the perfect partner for Historic Hotels of Europe, then, who aim to be active in the fight against climate change.

There’s no limit to the amount shoppers can give, either. Not only will Global Forest Fund receive an automatic sum once a voucher has been purchased, buyers can also choose to contribute an additional amount (starting from 5€), for which they’ll receive a special certificate. Because it feels good to give back.

There’s no rush - all vouchers are valid for five years

Perhaps most invitingly, every voucher on Historic Hotels of Europe’s new store is valid for five years from the date of issue, so there’s no need to book something right away! The lucky recipient can take their time planning their getaway down to the last detail, until they’re confident they know when they’d like to go.
