Rooms - Suites

Whatever you are looking for, at the Ice House, you have 32 bedrooms to find the perfect room to suit your individual taste. Cocoon yourself in a contemporary, sleek and modern bedroom or cosy up in one of the Heritage Suites. The suites are finished beautifully with classic furniture, which give the rooms their warm character. Alternatively, choose to stay in a Riverview Suite and enjoy panoramic river views from your private balcony. Have your choice of their 2 spacious Heritage Suites and 2 Heritage Double rooms. Or for something more contemporary, book in to one of their Deluxe Riverview Rooms or spacious Riverside Suites with a private balcony.


Enjoy mouth-watering food and spectacular views of the estuary while you’re cocooned in the original ice store that gives the Ice House its name. From breakfast to dinner, there are so many delicious dishes to choose from with special attention paid to its surroundings, making the most of local and regional produce. Taste the fresh fish of the Wild Atlantic Way or try a roast rump of Achill lamb, which is all served with locally sourced ingredients. Those with specific dietary requirements can rest assured that the restaurant accommodates all everyone’s palate with the additional menu to cater for vegans. Max. capacity: 130 persons

Mums-to-be can enjoy tailor-made treatments and, with the double treatment suite, couples can relax and unwind together in this perfect setting. Perhaps one of the most inviting areas of the hotel is the Thermal Suite, where you can enjoy a luxurious and detoxing seaweed bath - all while taking in the heritage of the hotel behind you and the views of the Wild Atlantic Way in front of you. The Suite is also home to stunning cedarwood hot tubs and sauna, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy your time away.
